Privacy and cookies

The short version: Pixelrain has no accounts, sets no cookies and shows no ads. It counts visits anonymously, without cookies, and never works out who you are.

Who we are

Pixelrain (pixelrain.net) is a collection of free AI-generated browser games. In this policy, "we" means Pixelrain. You can reach us through the contact page.

What we collect

Very little. There are no accounts, sign-up forms or comments. The site and its games are hosted by GitHub Pages, which may log technical information such as your IP address to keep the service secure and working. See GitHub's privacy statement.

Visitor statistics

To see which games are popular, Pixelrain counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. For each page viewed it notes the page, the site that linked to it, the country, the kind of device and browser, and how quickly the page loaded. We only ever see totals: it isn't used to identify you, to follow you between websites, or for advertising. Cloudflare handles this on our behalf; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

You can opt out whenever you like: Don't count my visits. Your choice is remembered by one small setting saved in this browser, which is never sent to us.

Games

Each game runs entirely in your browser. Some save things like high scores or settings in your browser's local storage. That stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Cookies

Pixelrain doesn't use cookies or advertising trackers, so there's no cookie banner to accept. The visitor statistics above work without cookies.

Children

Pixelrain is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change too.
